Horror and Excitment!

Scenero: 11:08 AM, 29th sept. 2007, Rexburg, Idaho, Typical saturday morning, Katherine and David relax on the couch in their 2 bedroom mansion apartment watching some Stargate SG-1, Candy lies next the them enjoying the quiet.

Suddenly Candy JUMPS up, runs to the door with her tail extended and ears alert. As she aproaches the door she truns and sits, clamly looking back at her pets. (this means time to go outside)

Reluctantly Katherine gets up to take her out, she opens the door with great ease only to let a shreek of terror shouting "WOW it is cold". Quickly she grabs David's coat and steps outside. Meanwhile David just sits and laughs at how easily Katherine gets cold; however, for the second David did feel the cold he realized there was somthing strang, yet oddly familar about that weather.

The next thing David knew is Katherine opening the door and saying "Hey look, it is raining something white and fluffy from the sky." As David aproaches the door he realizes it is SNOWING! so he turns to his Texan wife and informs her that the world is not over and that is just snow.

Immediatly Katherine picks up her phone and calls everyone she knows still in Texas and informs them of the down pour. Then runs outside to tell the neighbors, and to play in the snow, much like a little kid who tastes chocolate for the first time, then dives in. Then inside to the warm mansion to drink some luxurious and very expensive hot chocolate.

THE END

For real, winter has come a month early this year, the first snow is usualy around Halloween, but not this year, look and see how much we already have.

Just kidding, this is last year. this year are the next pictures.

If you look closely at Katherine's PT cruiser you can see little white specks, that is the snow. It really was not that big of a deal but, it is the first snow.
well bye bye.

I'm very excited for you Katherine! My first big snow while in Utah I wanted to run outside and make snowmen and snow angels, but my Utah roommates just laughed at me. Two years later I actually had a roommate that was kind enough to teach me how to make a snowman. Very exciting!

That is a great story. I don't know how you could go through your whole life without seeing any snow, but it's okay. I hope that she learns to really enjoy the snow. I am sure that we will start to really miss it.
